Basketball player & Fashion designer Brandon Jennings has been making his “Tuff Crowd” very noticeable to the media. Born in Compton, CA Jennings's passion for basketball took him exactly where he wanted to be. He played all four years of high school at Oak Hill Academy to become the first player to play overseas one year which lead him to the NBA draft. Jennings has always been one of my favorite basketball players just sucked seeing his career end so soon. But he still lets It be known that he’s always active in the gym competing in the Drew League against college standouts and NBA superstars.
On March 12, 2019, Jennings released a post on his “Tuff Crowd” brand explaining the reason behind designing not only for him but his audience. He mentioned “at a young age, I learned life wasn’t easy. No matter how much I tried to please people It never seemed to be enough,” he said. Going deep into his Tuff life experiences Jennings had no shame telling people how hard It was for him to get to where he wanted to be. But what I respect more about Jennings sharing his life experiences reached out to those who could relate. Tuff Crowd is more than just fashion it’s a representation of Happiness, Mental Health, Good Vibes, Good Energy, Entertainment, and Self Love. He mentioned “I always love clothes and putting outfits together. I wanted to be able to convey my style for all to access. Everything I designed is connected to me, my life, or my experiences. I’m a simple guy, so I wanted to make the clothes that speak to that part of me but are also high-quality and on the forefront of the trends effortless yet bold and controversial”. Since Jennings created his brand, he’s been getting a lot of support from friends in the league Jordan Clarkson, Eric Bledsoe, Kelley Oubre Jr, Stanley Johnson, and even NBA trainer Chris Brickley and of course friends outside the league. Tuff Crowd continues its growth inspiring those around the globe. You can not only look good with style but wear your story with style.
